Several local Salem-area athletes took part in the Northwest Classic in Eugene and The Mook XC Meet in Tillamook this past weekend.
Here’s a Round-Up
Northwest Classic
EUGENE, Ore. —
1A/2A/3A/4A
Central’s Annika Baltzley (13th) Crosshill Christian’s Corina Phillips (34th) and Western Christian’s Annabelle Bradley (46th with a PR time of 22:50.90) placed in the Top 50.
In the Boys Race, Central’s Hudson Stange (16th) and Thomas Butler (31st) finished in the Top 50. Western Christian’s Micah Holcomb (43rd), the Pioneers Cade Kravitz (49th) and Crosshill Christian’s Easton Zorn (50th) finished in the Top 50.
5A/6A
North Salem’s Aveya Neal and Citlali Zavala finished 34th and 35th respectively in the Big School race. The Vikings London Heinz finished 44th.
McNary’s Jaxsen Herring finished 24th with the North Salem duo of Ezekiel Erickson and Ramiro Callentano Gonzalez finishing 36th and 39th respectively.
The Mook XC
TILLAMOOK, Ore.– Stayton’s Presely Monninger finished 19th in the Varsiry Silver race with Laela Hunt finishing 25th.
The Eagles Brandon Wagner finished second in the Silver Race with a PR time of 16:25.70. South Salem’s Kayden Bejar (third), Sprague’s Anderson Webb (eighth) and the Eagles Carter Rudishauser (tenth) finished in the Top 10.
In the Gold Varsity Race, Sprague’s Xzavier Parker finished 18th. West Salem’s Madelyn Olsen finished 11th in the Girls Varsity Gold race.
