Track Round-Up

Several Salem-area teams took part in some big time meets this past weekend.

Here’s a Round-Up:

Rob Allen Invitational
LEBANON,  Ore.–  The Dallas Boys Track and Field team won the team and the Dragons Girls Track and Field team finished second at the Rob Allen Invitational on Saturday.

Nick Walker finished second in the 400-meter race and won the Long Jump.  The Dallas Boys 4×100 meter relay team finished second.  Nathan Cunningham (Discus), Israel Mabry (Javelin) won their events.  Jacob Dehm finished second in the High Jump

Harlow Nelson won the 200 meter dash.  Avery Hoffman won the 1,500-meter race with a PR time of 5:05.23.  Jozie Peirce wonn the 3,000 meter race with a PR time of 11:00.22. Tanya Green won the 300-meter hurdles with a PR time of 45.26.  The Dallas 4×100 Girls Relay team won their event as did the 4×400 meter relay squad.  Savannah Dezotell won the Shot Put.

North Salem
Javier Aleman Vazuez finished second in the 800-meter race.  Braxton Singleton won the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles. The 4×100 meter Boys Relay team finished second.  Diego Saavdera Garcia won the Shot Out

Sira Zallow finished second in the 200-meter dash.  The North Salem 4×100 meter Girls Relay finished second.  Maya Rodriguez finished second in the Shot Put.  Ruth Guthrie finished second in the Discus.

Kennedy
Reaghan Williams won the High Jump with a PR jump of five-feet.  Kaden Hattan finished second in the Shot Put.  Charlee Traeger finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles and fifth in the 300-meter hurdles.

Naomi Bogan won the 100-meter dash and finished third in the 400-meter race.  Alexandra Tei won the 800-meter race

South Salem
Kayden Bejar won the 1,500 meter race

Perrydale Invite.
PERRYDALE, Ore.–  The Crosshill Boys and Girls team’s both won the team title.  Eli Dunn (200-meter), Ethan Sullivan (400-meter), Marshall Garrett (800-meter), Jeremiah Stucker (1,500-meter race), Noah Tedrow (3,000-meter race), Daniel Eillott (Javelin), Brandon Glaser (Triple Jump) the Crosshill Christian Boys 4×100 meter race and 4×400-meter relay all won on the boys side.

Quinley Tedrow (400), and Allison Koontz (Discus) and the Crosshill Christian Girls 4×400 meter relay team won events to lead the girls team.

Perrydale
The Perrydale Boys and Girls teams finished second as teams.  Jack Pelzer (100),, Patrick Fox (Discus), McKenzie Freeborn (100), Brianne Dabel (Shot Put), Isabelle Arthur (Javelin, High Jump), Greta Fillible (Pole Vault), a’nice Taylor (Triple Jump) and the Perrydale Girls 4×100 meter relay team won events.  The Pirates Boys 4×100 meter team finished second,as did their 4×400-meter team. 

Jefferson
Tanner Jones finished second in the 200-meter dash, Angel Vasquez finished second in the 800-meter race.  Teddy Gorman and Lucas Simons went one-two in the Shot Put.  Gorman also finished second in the Discus

Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks)
Aveah Jefferson won the 200-meter race.

Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relay
BEAVERTON, Ore.– Delphian’s Oil Beauregard finished third in the 110-meter hurdles.  Crosshill Christian’s Kaset Zuidema finished fifth in the Shot Put.  Dayton’s Hadley High finished second in the Discus and fourth in the Javelin.

West Salem’s Anders Hagen finished eighth in the 3,000-meter race with a PR time of 8:50.04 in the 3,000-meter Varsity race.  Avery Meier finished fifth in the 3,000-meter Varsity race.  Meyer also finished fourth in the 3,200-meter race.

The McNary 4×400 meter Boys Relay finished fourth.  Derek Olivo won the Javelin throw.

Silverton’s Caden Druliner won the High Jump.  Scout Haugen won the High Jump as well.

Sprague’s Emmett Hunsaker finished 11th in the Shot Put.

Dallas’ Bertram won the Discus with a PR throw of 117-feet-7.75-inches.
