DAYTON, Ore.- The Regis Rams duo of Fletcher Gould and Eli Silbernagel once again showed what they are capable of in Friday afternoon’s 81-38 victory over Horizon Christian of Tualatin.
The pair combined for 34 of the teams points to anchor a Ram squad that turned a 17-10 first quarter lead into a 67-28 lead going into the fourth quarter.
“They’re playing today, yesterday, they’re playing with a lot of confidence and when you’re playing with confidence, it makes the game a lot easier. We just got to keep looking for them and they got to keep playing the way that they are,” said Regis Head Coach Jason Koehnke. “It’s a long season, they got to keep doing it.”
It was a sustained effort by the Rams points out Koehnke that saw Regis throughout the game, and it’s something that they’ll need Saturday afternoon when they play Cascade Christian to close out the Dayton Winter Classic.
“We’re going to have to bring the energy tomorrow. They’re really good and it’s going to be a full effort, 32 minutes. We’re excited,” said Koehnke.
Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm at Dayton High School.
