KEIZER, Ore.–  The McNary Football team opened their four-day Kid’s Camp with 150 kids, aging between Kindergarten and eighth graders in attendance.
Split up in age groups, they ran through drills and an obstacle course to close out the first day on Monday evening at McNary High School.  Each drill was run by some of the Celtic Coaching Staff and some of the McNary High School Football players.
The number of kids out for the first day impressed Head Coach Josh Riddell, who’s excited to see what is to come over the next three days of the camp.
“I was excited, just making sure we give the community something to look forward to and just have fun.  I think we did that the first day and can’t wait to see the next three days,” Riddell said.
The camp runs through Thursday, from 5pm until 6:30pm.  The cost is 20 dollars and will be on the turf at McNary High School.
