NEWBERG, Ore.– Addison Koffler made a name for herself as a freshman with the Kennedy softball team as she earned a second team All-State selection as a pitcher in 2A/1A this past Spring. All the while leading the Trojans to a 23-3 record and reaching the 2A/1A.
And the incoming sophomore has continued her momentum into the Summer as a member of the Eastside Elite 14U squad. Building off of the foundation she laid this past season.
“This Summer has improved how I can move on from games. It’s improved my skills, my hitting…it really helped me with my mental game a lot,” said Koffler. “(The High School season) was really head-on playing with a bunch of girls I knew from my school.”
On Friday in Newberg, Koffler struck out 15 batters and collected two hits and a run driven in as the squad went 2-0 on the day and are 4-0 in the NAFA National Tournament.
